Tom Tucker
Founder, Professional Engineer
Tom Tucker is a registered Professional Engineer, Qualified Steam Specialist and certified Fan Systems Expert for the United States Department of Energy (DOE).
He has more than 25 years of experience supporting industry by providing detailing energy efficiency, process engineering, project implementation and construction oversight in the food/dairy, pulp and paper, ethanol, plastics and metals industries.
A number of his heat reclaim designs are unique in the industry, including a Patent for application of direct contact evaporation in ethanol to improve efficiency and water balance.
In addition to Kinergetics, he was co-founder of an energy technology development company (Middleton, WI) where he led the design and development of energy analysis software and metering technologies to expedite evaluation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
Mr. Tucker has provided energy efficiency training to utilities and been an invited speaker at Universities and Colleges, the International Dairy Foods Association, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association.

Colton Eggen
Energy Engineer I
Colton Eggen joined Kinergetics upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering.
Since joining Kinergetics, Mr. Eggen has been assisting with detailed energy efficiency investigations, process design, development of Kinergetics Behavior Based Optimization (BBO), AutoCAD 3D and P&ID modeling, and process control. His efforts relate to work performed for customers as well as to Kinergetics R&D and pilot systems design.
Mr. Eggen is proficient with AutoCAD Plant 3D, Microsoft Office, and Aspen process modeling software, and is supporting Kinergetics efforts with software based energy analysis and reporting.
He is an Eagle Scout that has led the development of creative learning activities to teach the lifelong skills in communication, leadership, and teamwork to children at a Christian summer camp.

Kate Brebrick
EIT, Energy Engineer II
Kate joined Kinergetics upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. Her academic efforts included design of an alternative process for a wasteful and expensive facility exhaust air treatment system, and optimization of a separations process to recover valuable components from reactor effluent.
Since joining Kinergetics, Ms. Brebrick has been assisting with detailed energy efficiency investigations, system design, detailed engineering calculation, and development of software to expedite energy efficiency investigations and reporting. She is also assisting with Kinergetics efforts towards Kinergetics development of wireless data collection.

Joe Danes
Professional Engineer
Joe Danes is a registered Wisconsin Professional Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in commercial and industrial energy efficiency and renewable energy systems. His experience includes data collection and analysis, building modeling using the EQuest® building energy simulation software and programming in Pascal and C++.
He supports Kinergetics leading screening energy assessments to determine what energy cost opportunities might be available, as well as detailed energy efficiency investigations involving process support systems in industrial facilities in the USA and abroad.
